About Lilli Pilli, NSW

Lilli Pilli is a small suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Lilli Pilli is located 26 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Sutherland Shire. There is also another Lilli Pilli in New South Wales (postcode 2536), located 12 kilometres south of Batemans Bay. == History == Lilli Pilli was named for the lilly pilly, the native myrtle that grew on the point. Thomas Holt (1811–88) owned most of the land that stretched from Sutherland to Cronulla, including land on the point. In 1840, parish maps also showed that 20 acres (8.1 ha) of land on the point were owned by Francis Mitchell. The public school opened in 1957, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007. == Geography == Lilli Pilli is located on the north shore of the Port Hacking estuary. The only adjacent suburbs are Caringbah South, Port Hacking and Dolans Bay. The villages of Maianbar and Bundeena are located on the opposite bank of Port Hacking.

We bought and moved into our new home in the middle of 2023 and we knew wanted to make some updates to it. I was recommended Dura Group from a friend and we are over the moon with the work they have done. We wanted to have a media/feature wall in our living room as it was just a plain space. Mark who is the owner at Dura Group came round, listened to our ideas and we also gave him some pictures of ideas we liked. He talked us through everything and gave us samples of the materials and colours we could choose from. We picked the design and materials we wanted and Mark’s team turned it into reality. It looks even better than the picture idea we found. The team completed the work in 1 day and everything was made to measure. Mark is so attentive, professional and kind. He kept us updated every step of the way with how the making of the cabinet was going. We absolutely love our new media wall! It has added sophistication and elegance to our lounge. Thank you to Mark and the whole team. They are extremely good at what they do. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
